Zizo is shortlisted for a 2016 Computing Vendor Excellence Award

The shortlist for the Computing Vendor Excellence Awards 2016 has been revealed and Zizo is delighted to have made it through to the next stage of the judging process within the hotly contended Big Data Innovation of the Year Award category.

Zizo made the cut on account of its unique combination of state of the art technology and value driven analytics-as-a-service approach, which helps organisations identify and access their most valuable data to drive their business. A strategic database management platform conceived to meet the challenges of data analytics, Zizo allows organisations to quickly and easily gain insight into performance across the business; from operational and financial through to commercial, digital or social. Crucially, this can all be done without the costly investment associated with traditional solutions, as, with Zizo, no hardware, software, set-up costs or training is necessary.

That’s because when it comes to big data, organisations of all sizes need it. Yet, most are spending increasing amounts of time, money and resource simply storing and processing data, without business decision makers being able to utilise it in an agile and flexible manner. Used properly, data has the power to change everything; but business data must be placed in the hands of those who need it most – business people – so that anyone can ask any question, at any time, for better, more informed decisions.

Peter Ruffley, Zizo Chairman, commented: “It’s a great achievement to have made the shortlist of this year’s Computing Vendor Excellence Awards with our unique data management platform, and I would like to say a big well done and thank you to the team here at Zizo for making it possible.”

Described as representing “the cream of the crop of products and services within the UK IT industry” by Computing magazine, the list will now be scrutinised by a judging panel comprising IT leaders and Computing staff who will announce finalists in the run-up to the Awards event at London's Royal Garden Hotel on the 1st July 2016. Wish us luck @zizo_db!
